Quality - Our wood is a hard wood which burns with less soot and less acrid smoke and because it is a hardwood it has a higher density whichallows long burning embers to form, keeping the room warm.

Convenience – We deliver it to you so you don't have to do any driving around or too much heavy lifting, and we deliver a large quantity offirewood so you won't run out in a hurry. Our delivery of firewood includes Johannesburg and the surrounding suburbs

Safety - There is no need for you to stop on the side of the road at a'firewood for sale' sign, you already have a load of firewood at home.

Power saving - Do your bit to ease the electricity burden and don't switch on an electric heater. A warm cozy fire is much nicer than an electric heater anyway.

Start a hobby – Who knows? Sitting by the fire might inspire you. Learn to play chess. Better still carve some chess pieces from the smaller pieces of wood.

Firewood delivery prices

We charge a reasonable and affordable amount for our firewood delivery. Our price for firewood including delivery:

R1000 per load (one load is 250kg). Price correct at 18 May 2023.
All orders include a FREE bag of kindling
250kg should last you a while, but won't take up your entire garage (if stacked well it will take up a corner of your garage).
Don't forget your anthracite.

150kg - R1275 (15 of 10kg bags) small nuts (golfball size pieces)

Add some Anthracite to your order

Different from coal mainly because of it's density and hardness which allows it to burn for longer periods of time.

Anthracite is most effective in a fireplace that has a door which can close and has a flue which will alow air in from the bottom. An anthracite fire needs to be started as a wood fire on a grate which allows ash to fall through. Anthracite needs a lot of attention to keep it going, so it is best recommended purely for heating up a room, it doesn't have any of the romance and fun of an open fire, it does however deliver sufficient heat for a long time.
